The Lynton Downs Quarters were once home to many a cheeky shepherd or musterer or two. If the walls could talk, oh the tales, they would tell!
We like to think they have been revamped with modern comforts but the old building has still retained its quirky character which makes it plainly what it is today – The Quarters at Lynton Downs.
They are perfect for a romantic get-away or a cosy bolt hole after skiing or adventuring or for a family to enjoy getting on to the farm.
The Quarters have two bedrooms sleeping four people: a main bedroom off the living room with a queen bed and a single room with two beds off the front verandah. All bedding including cotton sheets, feather and down duvets, comfortable pillows, electric blankets, towels and robes (Queen Room) are provided. The Quarters are non-smoking.
The Quarters have a bathroom with a shower and hand basin and a kitchen. There is a deck with table, chairs and a barbeque and a views of the farm and hills beyond. The rather special characters of the farm yard our pigs Wilbur and Lola, farm cats Tom and Monty, rabbits Iggle and Daisy and of course loyal farm dogs reside close by and there are plenty of opportunities for guests to watch and to interact with them as they go about their day.
A large Masport fire makes the living areas comfortable and cosy, and a heater is available in the second bedroom. The Quarters have no cell phone coverage, but a house phone is available if needed. There is free WiFi available in the Quarters for guests.
